What I find funny about this, and similar such weather events, is the behavior of amateur stormchasers. It is funny to watch people try to balance their relief that nothing major happened with their disapointment that nothing major happened.

A lot of people love to speculate on just how catastrophic an event is (I'm talking to you Geraldo Rivera), and often seem disapointed when they dont get to see how accurate their apocalyptic predictions would have been had the storm stayed on course for New Orleans.

Kinda like how CNN stops caring about a story (like the Toronto plane crash) when they realize nobody died. Nothing sells like death and destruction.

Thankfully, today, sales were slower than expected.

I hope everybody Louisiana is safe. If reading this and your in New Orleans, get the hell outta dodge. Cuz' Katrina is one hell of a bad ass hurricane who is ready to show what a BITCH she can be. Category 5 hurricane means that this BITCH is gonna be motherfucker of a disaster. Again if your in New Orleans or anywhere close to this storm, GET YOUR ASS OUTTA THERE OR YOU MIGHT BE HURT OR KILLED. Take this seriously folks, this is the real shit. This hurricane will make the 4 hurricanes that hit Florida last year look like a day at a picnic. Again, be careful to everybody from the Florida Panhandle to Louisiana. This ain't no joke, BE CAREFUL DAMN IT.
