Happened along a sports census map project that is attempting to amass data for who people in each region root for.
Of coruse, the map for each league (we’ll use NHL for example) isn’t very readable in it’s design (no key, thus it makes it harder to knwo who colors are assigned to)… But it might just be something worth investing a few moments of your time in.

PJ, it says “Important: this map is highly inaccurate”, and you go along and use it like a source
I like how the Islanders seem to have LI mostly covered, but there’s no key for their color (on the high res map). Just too much in the area I guess.
If you look at the raw numbers, you’ll see there haven’t been too many responses.
Fun nonetheless.
