Aww come on. Don’t tell me you’re not excited to see our goalie start for our country. Are you keeping your “trap shut” out of humbleness or because you don’t agree with it .. ?
I’m keeping my trap shut because I’ve never really had much positive stuff to say about Grahame and his consistancy.
Him bieng named starter for Team USA is an honor and a privledge for him and I congratulate him on that.
But to be frank, I had joked with friends earlier int eh season and said if Grahame starts in goal for Team USA it’s going to be easier for other countries. Of coruse, this was BEFORE the Run commenced in January and befor eGrahame was playing much more spot on.
I guess my silence was more becuas eI end up slanting anything about John in a negative way on here and this is an honor that shouldn’t be sullied. I’m surprised by it but not totally shocked.
I guess the best thing I can say for Johna nd TO John directly is: Prove me wrong. PLEASE Prove me wrong.
I must say I agree with David. No matter what you think about Johnny all of us should be very excited and proud of him and what he has accomplished. And as far as his actual play in the Olympics, we will see but, I think that if John can take the momentum of his overall performance in the past few weeks into the games then the goaltending will end up being the backbone of great performances by the men’s team instead of the liability it was seen to be when those three were chosen. In any case what a moment for Johnny.
