So who’s tops and who’s bottoms? Has it been so long that people have forgotten Chico? How does Gordie Dwyer rank, even though he played during the Bolts lean years?

John, not sure if you’ve seen this story or not, but I figured it would be right up your alley.
Apparently some writer at SI has been ripping off material from another hockey blogger. Hopefully the link works but if not the blog being plagiarized (sp?) is Japer’s Rink, a Caps blog.
And when I saw this headline, I was really hoping the writer was Jay Mohr.

That doesn’t suprise me, Ski… The media has some problem with reporting on hockey in length. Especially the major media (SI, ESPN, etc) and seems lost in certain sitautions and desperate to find sources.
The NHL draft is a great example. There is now Mel Kiper Jr. on TB and the viewer is left out about who is being drafted… They make a much bigger deal aobut the draf and the television broadcast than infomring the viewer about picks. Mostly becuase they don’t know shit about them.
SI plagerizing - if that is the case - does not shock me one bit.
