Literally tomorrow as the Lightning will host the Hurricanes in Tampa tomorrow to continue the back-and-forthness of tonights disappointing loss to Carolina.

First of two… Will this weekend be the Lightning’s salvation or their trip to the showers?

The Tampa Tribune says it all — the Lightning are in need of taking care of business. They have 3 games to play and 3 chances to shut the door on the Maple Leafs and Atlanta Thrashers. The first two attempts will be played against the Southeast Division champion Carolina Hurrianes starting tonight. The season will end with the scrappy, upstart Washington Capitals coming to town.

Ultimately the focus in the next three games is making sure this does not turn into this.

Meanwhile, Marsha pointed out in comments that Pavel Kubina and Daryl Sydor have made the infamous “Who’s Hot / Who’s Not” list — on the not side.
