At any rate… Bobby, listen… We all love you here in Tampa but could you do everyone a favor and shut up about refs? Either referees aren’t calling penalties on infractions you point out or referees (in the case of tonight) are calling everything they see… You complain about both to no end and can’t be satisfied either way.
Do us all a favor and talk about the game — there are too many dynamics that the viewers aren’t informed about on a game-by-game basis and instead — we’re fed your homerish play-by-play.
No offense, Bobby, this is constructive criticism. We all have our problems with one dynamic or another but your constant ridicule of referees is coming off hypocritical as well as beating a dead horse.

Are you surprised? Taylor’s made his homer-ish whining about the refs his bread-and-butter for years; he’s not going to abandon that schtick now. He doesn’t deserve your constructive criticism.
Frankly, I always considered Peckham and Taylor to be the worst thing about watching Bolts games on Sunshine, during the lean years and the good times. Worst announcing team in the NHL, by far (and I’ve got most of a season of NHL Center Ice gazing to confirm that).
IMHO the Chief’s worst offense was wearing that bright orange shirt & tie last night. Really clashed with his orange QT tan and make-up, and made me almost reach for my sunglasses. Ouch!
CT — I lost my hearing in 1997 and haven’t had to endure closed captioned Lightning games until this season. I always worried I was missing information during Lightning broadcasts… I was wrong, they barely cover the game — let alone give insight.
And Marsha? Fashion crimes are a seperate offense punishable by death or a quick flip of the channel
That’s funny, that’s exactly what I was thinking as I was watching the game tonight. First he hates the hooking and the interference calls, now he’s asking where it went. It’ll be interesting to see what he bitches about during the playoffs.

If he was attacking the inconsitance of it and making a case in more games than just Lightning games (we don’t get video highlights from other matchups during Lightning telecasts) then he might be might grow a bigger legion supporting him.
He’s just as inconsistent as the refs though. I actually thought the 1st was a breath of fresh air after the Refs went lax in November… Alas, poor “Chief” didn’t like it… Nor did he like Refs going lax again… ho hum.
I’ve been watching hockey for 1 1/2 seasons and I’ve already heard “ticky tack” enough to last 10 lifetimes.
It’s always nice to watch the game at Dad’s, his tv is perfect for the game. The sound is failing so the crowd noise totally drowns out the announcers.
