Mark Tobin’s road to the NHL

Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Weekly has an article and interview up today about Lightning prospect Mark Tobin (who is another alum of the QMJHL’s Rimouski Oceanic).

Not the greatest piece — you can see most of Mark’s answers summarized in a lead-up to his responses — but worth a look if you interested in Lightning prospects.

For more prospect reports including new drafts, please visit http://www.nhltips.com .

Lemme ask you Mark — not that I expect a reply:

    Why should they?

The site has little to no content as it stands and is still in development. All that seems to be there are ads and a few profiles, as well as a message board that has not been customized for the site that it’s aligned with.

Shouldn’t you start advertising by actually providing content instead of posting on blogs while the site isn’t finished yet?

  3. Mark Berger Says:

    Hey there John,

just trying to give the site a little boost while we work on the rest of the content. You can remove this link if you like; however, I can also link back to your site!

I am sure people don’t like me posting links on their blogs but it really does help get the site going during launch and etc.

I appreciate you not removing the link and maybe we can be link partners. I’d be more then happy to post a link to you on our friends and partners page; and please understand, yes the site is still under development but if you review the content it’s not some second or third level sports writing. I have a professional sports writer working for me.
