Lightning vs. Coyotes is about to get underway from Times Palace and I just keep shaking my head at SunSPorts focus in the pre-game show…
I know Wayne Gretzky is one of the greatest players of all time but what about the current teams playing? Where they are in the standings? Etc?
Hockey seems too lost in nostalgia and tradition to reach the masses…

The Bolts looked absolutely tight on offense versus the Coyotes. LeCavalier, St. Louis, and Richards attacked the puck all night, passing and shooting at exactly the right times. If they continue their outstanding teamwork they will finish among the top thee Eastern Conference teams.
Absolutely the best line in hockey, LeCav St.Louis, Prospal.
If Torts breaks them up again he should be handed his walking papers.
Roy was a huge thorn in the Coyotes entire teams heads.
I don’t know if it made it on TV but twice the crowd was chanting “WE WANT ROY!”
Rumors were flying around our section last night about Modin being re-acquired, heard anything?
btw what’s our record after we declared the turnaround point of the season last month?
Hmmm, speaking of records, nice graphic on Southeast Shootout from LHC after this game. Enjoy:

Gotta love LHC
And I’ve been posting on FanHome (in the inactive Thrashers forum :/) that they can’t look back now.
The last 2 Stanley Cup Champions on their heels? How many division leaders have that problem?
Tiny — your rumor is the first time I have heard it. What’s the source? That’s got Jay Feaster’s hands all over it. Instead of trying to find something new and taking a chance — he invests in a known commodity. That would have been like acquiring Weekes at the deadline last year to shore up goaltending.
