Geeze, was afraid Holmer would let some of the clears into our net, and I’ve been fairly keen on the guy. Can only hope it was stage-lights jitters and that he’ll make the adjustment. After all, the guy seems to have neither long- nor short-term memory of bad plays, so he may get his head yet. But Perrin, Feds & Prospal, let’s step it up! Glad Brad had Marty to capitalize on yet another perfect pass. And let’s not get out-muscled, guys.
What I am worried aobut is that we only capitalized on a 5-on-3. It’s Brodeur and the Devil-trap which will limit shots, but they have got to pose an even-strength offensive threat and not bank on Colin White being an idiot again.
You’re right as usual, John. Now that I think about it, games when we can’t score 5-on-3 have been bad for us. But heck, I’m halfway into a nice English ale, so will keep some optimism going for at least another period. BTW I hear Atlanta is having some problems . . .

Get off Holmers back, he made the right move being aggressive and not wanting to take a late face-off down low, he had control, he had players, hell he put it right on the stick, whatever. The real dog of the night was Feds, he blew it on that fourth goal. He had about four chances to just dump it down the ice and he lost it on the boards on their blue line, he lost every battle on the boards and he doesn’t seem to have the drive to turn the corner anymore.
Torts will adjust for the trap in practice today and we come out on top Sat.
