Panthers shore up the net

The fire sale in Nashville continues as Tomas Voukon has been shipped into the Southeast division and to the Florida Panthers for the Panthers first round pick (#10 overall) and 2 second round selections.

This also confirms the Lightning had #47 snatched up by the Panthers this year (which was the conditional pick in the Chris Gratton trade).

Were are the bolts in all this goalie movement? This team needs a goalie! For a song and dance the panthers just got one of the best. Even the leafs made a smart move for once. The window is open but closing quickly, and don’t tell me how young Brad and Vinny are. Feaster better wake up, or look for another early exit. Although I know some of you are ok with just making the playoffs. Not me!! We had better be working to get the Ducks backup, as I think his age and contract would mesh nicely, for know. Also brad is overpaid and should have taken less to help the team, He is certanily not worth more the Vinny. But those are other issues.

“A song and a dance”? A first rounder and a second rounder and a fourth is a song and a dance? We had no first, we had optioned our second for Chris Gratton… What’s left? Trade the rest of the draft to obtain a goalie?

N-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o! Not another Turds lineup of second-rate forwards + top tier goalie. All I can say is that our coaching staff had better start watching video and find Vokoun’s weak spot, or this will be another frustrating season in our division.
