One for the Road

Well, I just found this story and laughed when I read it….

Basically Damian Cox believes the Flyers (or Toronto as this was published a few days ago) would have a bye to the Stanley Cup because the Lightning can’t compete with the Flyers or Leafs history.

History doesn’t have to lace them up every night…

I assume Damien Cox doesn’t play hockey on a team. The shit he writes in that article is the perfect example of the kind of thinking that gets “good” hockey teams in trouble.

“Oh, these guys aren’t so good… they suck… we’ll kick they’re asses.” (later) “WTF? We didn’t try because we took them too lightly, and they made us pay for it.”

Maybe we should send daily photocopies of this article to the Flyers locker room at the Ice Palace (one for each player and coach) in attempt to brainwash them into another Bolts four-game sweep? (evil grin)
